Collapse of US–Iran Talks – Threats, Walkouts, and Rising Tensions

The latest round of negotiations between the United States and Iran has collapsed, underscoring the fragility of the interim peace framework. According to Iran’s Tasnim news agency, Iranian leaders walked out midway after President Donald Trump issued fresh threats, demanding that Tehran halt Hezbollah’s activities in Lebanon and rein in its proxy groups. Trump warned that failure to comply would trigger renewed U.S. military action against Iran.
